We all slip up when it comes to nutrition. The key is how do you respond to the situation. You can either ignore your actions that caused the slip up or recognize them and get right back on track.

Below you will see a closed door nutrition coaching session with a young man who has ignored his health for the past year and is looking for the solution to recapture his health. He has agreed to release his coaching sessions to hopefully inspire others who may face similar challenges he has.

It’s not about making healthy choices to burn fat!

The most common issue we experience as a strategic health coach is that most people claim they understand how to eat healthy.

Fair enough. We believe that more and more people understand how to make a healthy choice. Like eat fibrous carbs, fruits, lean protein, and healthy fats like raw almonds instead of oreo cookies, fried chicken, pizza, or potato chips.

The frustration that people are seeing is they make these healthy choices yet are not seeing results. We have a few clients that bust their ass in the gym, make healthy choices, yet they are not seeing the results (of course they feel better, see changes within the structure of their bodies, but their body fat and or weight is not decreasing).

So the end result, people give up and revert back to eating those unhealthy choices because they figure what the heck I might as well eat those fatty foods and satisfy an emotional need.

The solution is educating society that its not so much about making healthy choices. It’s about choosing the right combination of healthy foods and the right portion size. We will touch about some great information further into the post.

The solution we provided to our clients 6 months ago was putting together a scientifically tested nutrition program that made it super simple to succeed with their results. Since then we have had seen results like 25 lbs lost in 12 weeks, 8 lbs and 6% body fat lost in 8 weeks,17.2 lbs and 4.3% bodyfat in 6 weeks, 23 lbs and 7.2% body fat lost in 16 weeks, 21 lbs and 7.8% body fat lost in 12 weeks.

Those are some great accomplishments and are improving to date. It all comes down to having a system in place. What we use is called the BodyGem which gives an accurate measurement of your resting metabolic rate which then we plug into our system along with other lifestyle factors and measurements which gives a client a daily caloric budget along with the proper combination of foods to burn fat. In addition these plans are created by dieticians.

So there is a proven system. But what if you do not have access to a system like this? Below we will talk about how to combine certain foods to create a fat burning state. We kept this real basic and effective so you can install this into your life today. It consists of nutrient dense, natural foods mixed with lower caloric dense foods and a higher thermic effect of digestion.

***side note: the thermic effect of food is how much energy your body uses to digest certain foods. Lean proteins have the highest thermic effect (body uses more calories to digest protein) and dietary fat has the lowest thermic effect.

So when combining foods you want to make sure you have all macronutrients (proteins, fats, and carbs) within a meal or snack. So a lean protein, with small amounts of essential fats, fibrous vegetables and fruits, and a portion of natural starchy carbs will turn your body into a fat burning machine (plan these meals out according to your caloric budget)

So here is a 4 Step process you can follow:

1. Select a fibrous or green vegetable (broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, etc)

2. Select a lean protein (chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, egg whites, etc)

3. Select a natural starchy carb or grain (oats, brown rice, sweet potatoes, etc). You can also add in some fruits)

4. Combine them all and enjoy your meal

Long Island Personal Training Success Story Impacts Another Life

We mentioned a few great tips on how to become successful in releasing fat safely but efficiently through the story of Client of the month Adam Grayson. However, Adam’s story is incomplete.

The missing piece is his lovely wife Brenda Grayson who originally started with B2F with the fitness and nutrition programs combined. Her results and dedication is what drove Adam to pursue his health goal in the way that he did.

This couple is unstoppable. Allow me to share a few extra tips through Brenda’s story.

Brenda works full-time in the city and has 3 beautiful children to care for. So as you can see, like Adam, she is already at a great disadvantage. Most people I meet either give me the excuse that they work too much, have no time, or their kids schedule don’t allow them to workout or prepare their meals.

As I said it’s just an excuse because Brenda has two odds against her yet she had been able to train under the B2F System 3 times per week and go through a nutrition session 1 time per week. So that’s 3.5 hours of dedication with our system at the gym on top of her additional 2-3 hours of working out on her own.

Brenda’s dedication to the B2F system has produced an 8.4 pound fat loss and a decrease in her body fat by 5.2% in under 8 weeks.

Those are some amazing results, because they continue to improve each week. Now it wasn’t always smooth sailing. There were some challenges she faced along the way. Who doesn’t? Challenges always arise. It’s just a matter of how you respond to them.

Below are a few tips we recommend from Coaching with Brenda:

1. Always eat breakfast. The one week Brenda missed breakfast is the week results stopped. As soon as she got back on the breakfast wagon, the results improved quickly

2. Drink more water. Yes you will experience consistent trips to the bathroom, but that’s normal. As a tip, drink about half about if not a little more of your body weight in water. You won’t understand the impact it has until you do it consistently

3. Resist your cheat items and cravings in the beginning. Usually after 2-3weeks they tend to go away. This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yummy fat foods, just avoid them for the beginning phases. Not only will you notice big drops in your fat loss, but always a decrease in those hunger cravings.

4. Always have Cinch Shakes and Cinch snack bars on hand. They are great for when you are unprepared for the day or your require something easy to carry around. They are packed with nutrients and a great saver when in need. Adam and Brenda have consistently installed these items into their life which produced a combined 22 pounds weight loss result.

How do you drop 15 pounds of fat in 30 days the safe way?

It’s one of those videos that make you think and reflect about yourself and where you are. Once you finish watching that read below on how to drop 15 pounds of fat in 30 days the safe way:


This is actually a great story and a live case study that shows proof you can make this happen in a safe way. You don’t have to starve yourself or kill yourself in the gym. It’s simply just following the plan consistently. That is what most people have a hard time doing because they do not have a strong enough motivating factor to keep them on track with their nutrition plan.

We have been coaching Adam Grayson (who is the client of the month with his beautiful wife Brenda because they are kicking arse together) for about 4 weeks now. Every week he comes in for a 30 minute nutrition coaching session to go over his plan.

As usual, Adam drops between 3-4.5 pounds each time he comes in. So before I get deeper into the story, let me tell you the reasons why he WON’T succeed:

1. He started the nutrition coaching program a week before he had to go on a business trip which required alot of his time, energy, and focus. He is in the entertainment industry which means he is responsible for setting up the talent for shows/events, creating the logistics behind the scenes with lighting, stages, and crops, and making sure his clients and artists are well taken care of for the night.

2. He started the nutrition program on a Wednesday and received his meal plans Thursday night. Here comes the weekend!

3. He started the nutrition coaching program a little over 2 weeks before Passover. We all know how much food are on those tables during that holiday.

4. He went out to dinner twice last weekend with his family. It’s family you have to go eat with them right?

Where most people say it’s not possible, Adam said it’s possible. He didn’t buy into any excuses, he didn’t fall prey to those who try to push you off your plan, he didn’t allow time to be an issue, and he never once doubted himself.

Remember when I said he WON’T succeed due to these factors? I was being a little sarcastic because most people would see this as impossible. But we are here to tell you it is case in point with Adam. Here are the reasons why Adam did succeed:

1. He comes prepared to every coaching session. Always has his food journals, brings his snacks for the session because that’s his snack time, has his questions ready to fire away, is 100% honest about everything that happened in the last 7 days, and most importantly he walks in with a confident smile.

2. When we make a recommendation he utilizes it. We spoke highly how our clients success rate increases when they use Shaklee products; he ordered a full month’s worth of supply that day. We wrote out a detailed nutrition plan; he bought all the products necessary for the next 3-4 days. We asked him to take a select few things out of his plan; he immediately took them out and doesn’t have a single craving for them.

3. Adam is training with weights and swimming in conjunction with his fitness program. There is nothing more powerful then having a fitness and nutrition coach at the same time devising a plan together as professionals. You absorb so much value and your life changes in a very short period of time.

4. He balances out his day and makes time to eat. Most people get too busy and forget or they over eat at certain points. Adam makes sure his body gets what it needs at certain times.

5. He utilized a scientifically proven metabolic test which allows our nutrition coaches to pinpoint exactly how many calories he needs to reach his goal on an everyday basis. On top of that his meal plans are adjusting with the proportions of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

6. His plan is made up of about 45-55% of carbohydrates. Who would of thought that an intake on that level would help you lose weight? Adam doesn’t fear the carbs because he trusts us as professionals to make sure they are the correct ones and balanced throughout the day.

7. Lucky number 7 which is the biggest one yet. Adam doesn’t have a single doubt in his mind that he won’t be successful. Remember that video link we had above with Will Smith? If you haven’t watched it yet, you MUST so this last point can sink it.
