Designing a complete fitness program with Long Island Experts

Step 3 in How To Transform Your Body In Record Time is where most people get lost. They feel they can pick and choose which components to work on, or they just throw things together to see if it works.

Step 3 is designing a complete program which consists of 6 components:

  1. Nutrition- foundation of a program
  2. Resistance Training- helps build lean tissues
  3. Supplementation- fills the gaps in your nutrition
  4. Smart Cardio- keeps the heart healthy and lungs conditioned
  5. Flexibility- increases recovery and prevents injury
  6. Coaching- provides accountability, knowledge, and support

Have you ever heard, “Throw SH!T at a wall and see if it sticks?”

Well thats what most people do here.

Fair warning: If you do not take all of these seriously, you will not only have an extremely tough time in achieving your goals, but if you do happen to be one of the lucky ones that make it, it won’t last for long. These 6 components together form a glue for your health. If one is missing, it is very likely that things will fall apart and you will end up either back where you started or even worse.

Since this topic can get very meaty, we will break this up into each of the components and explain each in detail.

Since fat loss seems to be the biggest topic currently, we will gear this toward that type of program to make it easier for everyone to follow and even prepare for beach season.

The truth hurts, but it will save you today

Things have been going a little crazy here at the Breakthroughs office. We are working around the clock to create better systems for our clients to achieve even greater success.

So our apologies for not getting this message to you this friday, but today is a better day to see this message. You see, if you would have seen Step 2 of transforming your body in record time on friday, you might have put it off until after memorial day or given yourself an excuse to slip majorly on memorial day.

So now that you see it on memorial day, it might inspire you not to shoot yourself in the foot. Step 2 is evaluating where you are right now.

Sometimes facing the facts hurts alot. Here are some of the facts you may be facing:

  1. the number on the scale is too high
  2. I can’t walk up the stairs without breathing heavy
  3. My body fat is above healthy means
  4. I can’t even finish a mile
  5. I used to be able to do alot more pushups
  6. My clothes are getting tighter

… and so on

That’s ok. But at least you are evaluating yourself today so you can face the truth and not put off your health any longer. So down below I want you to evaluate yourself on the tests and measurements below:

  1. 1 mile walk/jog/run. How fast can you finish a mile
  2. Measurements: a) around the waist line (across the belly button), b) around the hips (across the biggest part of your hips), c) across the chest (men under the armpits and across the nipple, women across the top of shoulders 3 inches above the nipple line), d) around the right bicep
  3. Weight in lbs
  4. Body fat (use the machine from a gym if you have access to one)
  5. Maximum number of good form pushups

There are more things you can do, but I do not want to overwhelm you. So get to it, and make sure you mark today’s date down along with your results and goals.

The next milestone is Fourth of July. So you have plenty of time to work on improving your results. Do not sulk and whine about what you see today. Take immediate action and do what most people won’t do so you can have what most people don’t have.

Breakthrough Transformation Step 1

Remember last week we mentioned the 5 Keys To Transforming You Body In Record Time for beach season?

Well, it doesn’t have to be just for beach season or just for fat loss. Applying these 5 key steps can accomplish any goal.

We just figured you would want to know how to use them just in time to look great on the beach…It’s never too late to start.

Well the first step is ::drum roll::


Alright I know…how many times have you heard that crap before.

However, that “crap” is what sets apart the 95% who fail and 5% who succeed in transforming their body in record time. You tell me: which category would you like to fall into?

The first part is defining your goals. What is it you truly want to accomplish this summer? Be as specific and detailed as possible because what you don’t know, you won’t get. So instead of saying I want to lose weight, get specific of the areas you want to lose weight in, how much weight you want to lose, and how much of that weight do you want to be actual fat. The more specific and detailed your goals are, the more successful you will be.


The second step is defining your motivation. We call this your WHY. What drives you everyday to want to pursue the goals you have ahead of you? If you give some type of BS answer to this, you will get BS results.

Seriously think about what drives you in life to want to be successful and use the power of that to accomplish your health and fitness goals. If it doesn’t get you emotional and excited, then you have to dig deeper to find the true answer that will keep you going. This can take some time, so be sure to go into a relaxed environment where you can think.


The last phase of the first step is your commitment level. How commited are you to your goals on a scale of 1-10 (10 being you will do your very best). And when we say 10, we do not mean perfection, rather, you are prepared to give it your all and constantly improve your situation. Warning: if you are not a 10, it will be very difficult to achieve your goals because you will give yourself an out or excuse not to succeed.


That’s it for today. Be sure to complete this first step before you do anything else. It’s the foundation that will hold you up during the tough times.

Swine Flu: A Survivor’s Tale

It’s always great to read a survivor’s tale when a so called threat to mankind is announced by the media. To read the story of a survivor in Mexico click the link below:

A Survivor’s Tale

Why is that?

Because it is possible to survive and even prevent this swine flu from becoming a huge outbreak.

The media is drawing this out so much that it is creating a frenzy among the United States.

It creates great ratings for the media the more threatening this flu sounds, but at the same time, a nation under panic is not an efficient nation. When you focus on things being a threat, everything shuts down around you.

We were threatened by terrorists…but as a nation we are much more confident now and we pulled through

We are always threatened by the common flu where hundreds of americans die each day…yet when “flu season” (thats another topic for another time) comes around, we are confident on how to prepare for it

According to 2006 statistics, 4 americans died every hour from car accidents…yet we don’t fear getting into our car.

I hope you see my point. If we feared the above 3 scenarios and concentrated on what the media had to say about them, no one would fly or go into tall skyscrapers, people wouldn’t go into large crowds, and the roads would be empty of many automobiles.

We need to dump our minds of all this head trash the media is piling on and focus on prevention and education of taking better care of our bodies to fight off this Swine Flu.

It’s very possible to defeat this threat if we focus on being proactive and not reactive.
